Luxurious full day Door-to-Door (Hotel-to-Ski Area) guided ski tours and beginner/intermediate lessons in English for families and groups of 2 to 4 people from Karuizawa to local ski areas with two times the elevation (means Hokkaido powder snow) and twice the vertical drop. While most guided tours are only half day, we specialize in full day tours. We are the ONLY guide service in town with English support.

-       The tour does NOT include lift ticket, ski rental, food or insurance but we can often get discounted lift tickets and rentals;

Palcall Tsumagoi Resort / Powder snow 嬬恋滑雪度假村 /粉雪

At 2100 meters maximum elevation with 730 meters in vertical drop, the high speed gondola quickly gets you back to the top for another 4.5 km of powder snow trails through frost covered forests. Six skis lifts and 16 courses service 10% advanced, 50% intermediate and 40% beginner runs. Lift tickets and rentals are 4700 yen.

Kusatsu Kokusai / Powder snow 草津国际滑雪场/粉雪

At 2171 meters maximum elevation with 926 meters in vertical drop, not to mention their 8 kilometer runs, Kasatsu Kokusai is amazing. Ten skis lifts and nine courses service 20% advanced, 50% intermediate and 30% beginner runs. Kusatsu also offers the hottest hot springs in Japan. Lift tickets and rentals are 4000 yen.

Starting at 8:30 or whenever you would like to be picked up. A great introduction to fantastic powder spots. No extra person charge. Up to 4 guests. 1 guest 50,000 yen, 2 guests (26,000 yen each), 3 guests (18,000 yen each), 4 guests (14,000 yen each). Non-skiers like parents are welcome to come for free.

All prices includes private guiding fee, hotel pick up / drop off, transport to slopes.

Your guide will pick you up directly from your hotel and shuttle you to the mountain in a comfortable 4WD vehicle with brand new snow tires.

On the way back to your hotel, the guide is more than happy to take you to a local hot springs as well. Feel free to ask the guide for more details. Also, if the weather on the slopes isn't ideal or turns bad, we can adjust our plans to include local hot springs or shopping tours.

Cancellation Refund Policy: From 5:00 pm of day before tour until day of tour: no refund

From 2 days before tour until 5:00 pm of day before tour: 50% refund

All cancellations must be made either by email or in person. None will be accepted by phone.

Cancellation Policy: Bookings may only be cancelled and refunded up to 14 days prior to scheduled lessons / guiding sessions. Rescheduling (subject to availability) is permitted provided notice is given prior to 6:00pm (Japanese standard time) the day before your booking. Cancellations during Xmas/New Years Holiday 12/20 -1/5 and Chinese New Years cannot be refunded but can be rescheduled subject to availability.

取消政策: 预订只有在预定课程/指导会谈的14天前取消时，才予退款。如您在预定日期前一天下午6:00（日本标准时间）之前通知我们提出改期，则可以视情况而重新安排旅程。

在圣诞节/新年假期12/20-1/5和中国春节期间取消预订不能退款，但可以视情况而安排改期。

Late Start Policy: Arrive on time. Bookings will not go beyond the scheduled end time. Non-arrival 60 minutes after scheduled starting time is considered a no-show, and is not refundable.

Lift Closure Policy: In the event of full lift closure (0 lifts running) in the resort where your lesson is booked, due to inclement weather, we will happily reschedule lessons, subject to availability. Where rescheduling is not possible we offer a fully transferable credit where the value (yen) of bookings can be used later in the season, or in future seasons. 

索道关闭政策：如果在您课程的预订时间内，由于恶劣天气导致度假村索道完全关闭（0索道运行），我们愿意为您重新安排课程（视情况而定）。如果您无法改期，我们提供可完全转换的信用，您预订的价值（日元）可以在当季的晚些时候或未来季节使用。

Guided Tours: Safety is our priority. We operate tours to the best terrain available, subject to constantly changing conditions. All guides are equipped with first aid packs.

Health and Safety: Clients need to be in relative good physical condition. Clients will be required to fill out a medical checklist and waiver. Skiing and snowboarding can be dangerous. You must acknowledge that snow skiing and snowboarding entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties.  I understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.

The risks include, among other things: boarding, riding and disembarking the gondola and other lifts, tows or conveyors; sudden and unexpected changes in weather conditions; avalanches; exposed rock, earth, ice, and other natural objects; trees, tree wells, tree stumps and forest deadfall; the condition of snow or ice on or beneath the surface; variations in the terrain which may create blind spots or areas of reduced visibility; variations in the surface or sub-surface, including changes due to man-made or artificial snow; areas where the trail or route is rough, unstable or not defined; variable and difficult conditions; streams, creeks, and exposed holes in the snow pack above streams or creeks; cliffs; exposed holes on or adjacent to the trails; rockfall; snowcat roads, road-banks or cut-banks; collision with lift towers, fences, snow making equipment, snow grooming equipment, snowcats, snowmobiles or other vehicles, equipment or structures; collision with other persons, encounters with wild animals including bears; overexposure to the sun, fatigue, dehydration, hypothermia and overexertion; becoming lost or separated from one’s party; loss of balance or control; failure to act safely or within one’s own ability or to stay within designated areas; negligence of other skiers, snowboarders and other persons; and NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES. I UNDERSTAND THAT NEGLIGENCE INCLUDES FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS REFERRED TO ABOVE. I am also aware that the risks, dangers and hazards referred to above exist throughout the ski area and that many hazards are unmarked. I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSS RESULTING THEREFROM.
